August 3, 2009

MOPThe U.S. Air Force said the Pentagon wants to speed deployment of “bunker-buster” bombs on U.S. bombers, Reuters reports on its Web site Sunday. The non-nuclear, 30,000 pound Massive Ordinance Penetrator, or MOP, is designed to destroy deeply buried or hardened targets, according to the report. The ordinance, built by Boeing Co.
